Takahashi Minami AKB48 members arrived in Taiwan for an event of handshake on August 2nd.
Takahashi arrived at the airport in Taiwan in the afternoon, where nearly 300 fans were waiting. Having an extremely short only 148.5 cm (about 4’10 “), fans at the back of the crowd were forced to jump several times to get a insight the idol.
A bookstore where the event took place handshake around 1,500 fans came to meet Takamina. There were a few female fans who have come before this meeting until 30 hours and some male fans came with a big ribbon (Takahashi unique). The fans really showed their ardent love for their idol.
For this event, fans were told to buy 2100 yen (~ 27 USD) worth of goods to be able to have a handshake with Takahashi. However, the latter in June Watanabe Mayu colleague came to Taiwan and the goods will cost 1100 yen (~ 14 USD). Many fans expressed their displeasure with the price increase.
AKB48 opened their official store this past June and became very popular. In addition, girls will be opening a coffee next October.
